1. Overview
MaxRecovery Timer (“the App”) is an Apple Watch and iPhone app for hot-bath wellness — timing sessions and records heart-rate-based data. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles and how.
The developer does not operate any server and does not collect, receive, or store your personal data. Your session data, health data, and location data stay on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your own private iCloud account. The developer has no access to it.
2. Data the App handles

The App has no account or login. It does not ask for your name or email. A short export-name label you may optionally enter is stored only on your device.
When you open a session’s detail screen, the App shows a map and looks up nearby place names through Apple Maps. This sends that session’s coordinates to Apple’s Maps service. Apple Maps does not associate this with your identity, and the developer receives nothing.
3. Where your data is stored
- On your device: Session and health data are stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch.
- In your private iCloud: If you are signed into iCloud, session data is synced through Apple’s CloudKit to your own private iCloud account so you can restore it after reinstalling. This is Apple infrastructure; only you can access it. The developer cannot.
4. Health data (HealthKit)
The App reads the following data types from Apple Health to provide its features: heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, walking distance (used during a session to flag movement artifacts in the heart-rate signal), active energy burned, and — on the day after a session — sleep analysis and respiratory rate (for recovery analytics).
- Health data is never used for advertising.
- Health data is never sold or shared with the developer or any third party.
- Health data is processed on your device and synced only to your private iCloud. Health data is never sent to Google AdMob.
- When you record a plank with the optional Plank exercise add-on, an
HKWorkoutSessionof typeCore Trainingis started on Apple Watch and the resulting workout (with HR samples) is written to your Health app. - Heart-rate data is produced by Apple Watch sensors at your wrist. Whether and how to wear Apple Watch during a session is at your discretion, and the App does not require continuous wrist-wearing. Please follow Apple’s guidance for your environment (see the Terms of Use).
5. Advertising (non-Premium users)
For users without a Premium subscription, the App shows banner ads through Google AdMob. AdMob is a third-party service operated by Google and may collect device information, an advertising identifier, and ad-interaction data to deliver and measure ads.
- AdMob also receives your IP address, which Google may use to estimate the approximate location of your device for ad delivery. The App itself never shares the venue location it records with AdMob.
- On iOS, access to the advertising identifier (IDFA) is governed by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency. The App asks for your permission; if you decline, you still see ads, but they are non-personalized.
- In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the App shows a consent form (Google UMP) before serving ads, as required by GDPR.
- Google’s handling of advertising data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- The Premium version shows no ads, and the App does not request tracking or ad consent from Premium users.
6. Purchases
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Payments are processed by Apple; the App never sees your payment details.
7. Your rights (GDPR and similar laws)
Because the developer holds none of your personal data, there is no developer- side database to access, correct, or delete. You remain in full control:
- Delete your data: Delete sessions in the App, or delete the App. To remove iCloud copies, delete the App’s data from iCloud in iOS Settings.
- Export your data: Premium users can export all session data as CSV files.
- Withdraw ad consent: Adjust tracking in iOS Settings, or use the in-app consent options where shown.

8. Children
The App is a wellness tool intended for general audiences and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Data retention
Data is retained on your device and in your private iCloud until you delete it. The developer retains nothing.
10. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.

本アプリにアカウント登録・ログインはありません。氏名やメールアドレスを求める こともありません。任意で入力できる短いエクスポート名ラベルは端末内にのみ 保存されます。
セッションの詳細画面を開くと、本アプリは地図を表示し、Apple マップを通じて 近隣の場所名を検索します。これにより該当セッションの座標が Apple のマップ サービスに送信されます。Apple マップはこれを利用者の身元と結び付けず、開発者 は何も受け取りません。
3. データの保存場所

5. 広告（Premium 未加入時）
Premium 未加入の場合、Google AdMob を通じてバナー広告を表示します。AdMob は Google が 運営する第三者サービスで、広告の配信・計測のため端末情報・広告識別子・広告 操作データを収集する場合があります。
- AdMob には IP アドレスも送信され、Google が広告配信のために端末のおおよその 位置を推定することがあります。本アプリが記録する施設の位置情報を AdMob に 渡すことはありません。
- iOS では広告識別子（IDFA）へのアクセスは Apple の App Tracking Transparency により管理されます。本アプリは許可を求めますが、拒否しても 広告は表示されます（その場合は非パーソナライズ広告になります）。
- EEA・英国・スイスでは、GDPR の要請に従い、広告配信前に 同意フォーム （Google UMP） を表示します。

- Premium 版では広告は表示されず、Premium 利用者にトラッキングや広告同意 を求めることもありません。
6. 課金
Premium は Apple の App 内課金で販売される自動更新サブスクリプションです。 決済は Apple が処理し、本アプリが決済情報を見ることはありません。
7. 利用者の権利（GDPR 等）
開発者は利用者の個人データを一切保持していないため、開発者側に閲覧・訂正・ 削除すべきデータベースは存在しません。利用者が完全に管理権を持ちます。
- データの削除: アプリ内でセッションを削除する、またはアプリを削除します。 iCloud 上のコピーを削除するには、iOS の設定からアプリの iCloud データを 削除してください。
- データのエクスポート: Premium 利用者は全セッションデータを CSV で 書き出せます。
- 広告同意の撤回: iOS の設定でトラッキング設定を変更するか、アプリ内の 同意オプションを利用してください。

8. 子どもについて
本アプリは一般利用者向けの温浴ウェルネスツールであり、子どもを対象としていません。 子どものデータを意図的に収集することはありません。
9. データの保持期間
データは利用者が削除するまで端末内および利用者のプライベートな iCloud に 保持されます。開発者は何も保持しません。
10. 変更
本ポリシーは更新されることがあります。重要な変更はこのページに新しい施行日 とともに反映されます。
